The proposal is to help Signal Hill welcome new students into its home. After last year's success with the garden, students developed a deeper understanding for growing living plants and horticulture. However, over the summer, the garden was damaged due to uncontrollable circumstances. The proposal is to build bigger and better. Utilizing the garden is a great way to bring diverse student needs
together focusing on one common goal. Fifth grade students will integrate with students from IPC classes, bringing their unique skills and abilities to produce a garden for all to enjoy. As students leave Signal Hill and new students come in, they will all be able to participate with pride knowing they have contributed to their home. Students will be able to feel a connection to their world and with each other.
