I took an extensive tour of the French speaking part of Belgium. I immersed myself into the culture of this very unique part of Europe. The conflict between the Flemish language and the French language in a country the size of Rhode Island has always intrigued my linguistic nature. I learned many things that I will bring back to the classroom at Candlewood in Dix Hills Long Island.
