From the Half Hollow Hills TA Constitution and Bylaws, Article I

Section 5-A – Contract Ratification – The negotiated changes in the Contract shall be presented to the membership at a General Meeting.  Voting, by secret ballot, will take place in the individual schools three (3) full school days after the General Meeting.  Votes will be counted at the Teachers’ Association office, on the same voting day, by the Senior Building Representative or Junior Representative(s) if the Senior Representative is unavailable.

Section 5-B – Emergency Contract Ratification – In the event that the Executive Board determines it is impossible to implement Section 5-A, the Executive Board shall be empowered to determine the method of contract ratification.
