WOW- This HHHTA 6th Annual Walking Food Tour had a whirlwind of stops!

Our tour started with the meeting of our tour guides in Flushing at the public library! While waiting to meet up, we did some street vendor  & Asian market shopping. While we are waiting to get started we sampled some pork buns from Tong Hai Tung Bakery. We split into 2 groups and hit the streets sampling fried dumplings from JoJo Duck and baked goods from the New Flushing Bakery. We then headed on over to the Shanghai You Garden for some amazing Peking Duck Buns! One last stop here at Eight Jane Food Company for some spicy crepe deliciousness shared by all.

Next stop Corona  - here we visited an outdoor food court where we sampled Ecuadorian cuisine, a variety of drinks - tamarind, passion fruit & coconut, plus a variety of different foods. I heard the tamales were amazing.

Of course while in Corona we had to stop at the Ice King of Corona! There we all had a taste of ices with real fruit…nothing beats the flavor.

Our last stop brought us to Jackson Heights - here we had many options Tibetan, Bengali and Indian cuisines. Our guides showed us their favorite places to taste the different options and we all split up and enjoyed a nice lunch. My group opted for the highly acclaimed Angel Indian Restaurant! Our meal was spicy with just the right amount of heat.

Back to the bus for a relaxing ride back home! Another amazing tour in the books. Be sure and join us next year! Until then, Bon Appétit.
