We kicked off this year with our Fall Social November 15 at Miller’s Ale House in Commack.
We had just under 100 members in attendance, including some of our newbies. All attendees received a free gift (HHHTA drink koozie and a drink ticket) at check-in. Each member also received a raffle ticket, with new members receiving entry in a special raffle.
This was the perfect way for new members to see what we are about! Members met with their friends and saw our colleagues from our other buildings. Members gathered around the big bar and tables — we ate, we drank, we took pictures, won raffles, and we were merry.
The PR Committee also added a contest: which group, Elementary or Secondary, would have the best attendance?
And the winner is…………… Elementary!! 🎉
Raffles were drawn, and all winners were excited to hear their number called! The new member special raffle — “HHHTA Swag for All Seasons” — went to Nicola Calabrese from Signal Hill.
